A Quick Update on Walking Through Walls
It's been a while. I knew I'd blog less while finishing the book but that turned out to be a prolonged period of darkness. You know how they say absence makes the heart grow fonder...
The editing of the book is going really well. Many of you have asked about the book and I know many of you are praying and I appreciate your care and prayer more than you know. I got the manuscript back from the editor with lots of encouragement and some work to do. I am working on incorporating the editor's suggestions into the book, which are mainly clarifying.
I have learned something valuable in the process of writing this book. You see, as I go through the material and shape it into its final version, I realize how badly I need to take my own medicine. I'm writing as someone who wants more of Jesus in my work, not as a sage who has it all figured out.
The book has been a great conversation instigator. I have gotten to talk with many about the subject of faith and work and it is clear that this topic resonates with many. That's encouraging, as my hope is that this book would impact people in a big way such that they take action and live differently after reading it.
Thanks for the support. I'll keep hacking away at this thing and praying that God would shape it into something that changes your life forever.
